A ‘Qualified Person’ from NSS will review the pertinent information, and along with customer input, will determine the type of fall protection system required for your particular application.

An NSS ‘Qualified Person’ will perform the initial design of the proposed fall protection system. The final shop drawings submitted for this Work will be completed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the state in which we are doing business.

Yes, as long as the work is performed under the direct supervision of an NSS Certified Installer. The onsite NSS representative is a requirement of OSHA.

Upon completion of the installation, an NSS representative will provide training on the proper use, care and maintenance of the installed system.

OSHA defers to the manufacturer on this subject matter. Most manufacturers require “systems” to be inspected on an annual basis by a ‘Qualified Person’. The “user equipment” is required to be inspected on an annual basis by a ‘Competent Person’. NSS meets the requirements of both a Competent and Qualified Person and can provide these services to you.

The focus of NSS is mostly throughout the Midwest although we have already performed work in Kentucky, Virginia, Florida and Oregon.

Typically we will gather as much information as possible up front to provide a budgetary proposal for the particular project. If the customer decides to move forward with the project based on the budgetary proposal, NSS will perform a site visit at no cost to the customer.
